Plenty of helpers
Your Sign Up Night agenda and scipt
Unit organization chart/flip chart
Checkbook, change, receipt book, and square
Pocket calculator
Pens and Masking tape
Program Helps and handbooks
Any Pack displays
Before You Leave Home
Prepare you Pack organization chart/flip chart
Wear your complete uniform (should be in full Class A Field Uniform)
Review your agenda and practice your presentation

Grade-level table markers
Training fliers
Cub Activity (if the pack does not have one planned)
When You Arrive at the School
Set up tables, by grade
Check with other Sign Up Night team members on their part of the program
Display your Pack organizational chart
Helpers/Unit leaders set up displays
Station someone at the door to welcome and sign in families
Keep boys and parents in the room – they should stay together for “circle up”
Do not allow uncontrolled running, shouting, and horseplay
Have a helper ready to assist Dens at tables
General Presentation
Being promptly at the Sign Up Night scheduled time
Be confident – you are prepared and have support
Be enthusiastic; you set the tone!
Follow the Sign Up Night agenda
After the Meeting
Meet with new adult Leadership, promoting and arranging
Collect all applications and money – write on the applications: “Paid, amount, cash/check No.”
Review youth applications:
Parent signature
Cubmaster (or unit leader) signature
Date of Birth for youth and parent
Boys’ Life
magazine box (is it marked?)
Email address
Review youth application:
Charter organization representative’s signature
Committee Chairperson’ signature
Disclosure form
Social Security number
Youth Protection Training certificate
Submit the following to your Sign Up Night Coordinator:
Turn in all applications (even those unsigned or from those who have not paid)
Money: Please bring one (1) Pack check if possible; there will be plenty of time for the individual checks to clear your Pack account!
Provide a sign-in sheet (copy)
Turn in your Sign Up Night team roster
