Camp Allatoona "Day of Fire" Work Day | Jan 22, 8:00AM
The annual “Day of Fire” will be a CAAB tradition where scouts burn driftwood for 24 hours the second Saturday in January. Scouts can earn three conservation service hours or stay the entire 24 hours.

Woodbadge Training | Mar 4-6, 9:00am
All equipment is provided and participants and instructors cannot bring their own guns/bows. Scouts who already possess shooting skills will be given an opportunity to complete the shooting portion of the Archery, Rifle, or Shotgun Merit Badge requirements.

Bullseyes & Bass| Mar 5, 10AM-5PM
Location TBD. Shooting sports and fishing event. This will be for Cub Scouts.

Scout Challenge Camporee | Mar 18-20

Join over 2,500 of your fellow Scouts, Venturers, and volunteer for the biggest camping weekend in Metro-Atlanta. Troops and Crews from across the Atlanta Area Council will camp jamboree style at Bert Adams for three days and two nights March 18-20, 2022.

Memorial Day Flag Placement | May 28
The AT District proudly participates in two annual service projects at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.  In addition to community service, these events are opportunities for both youth and adults to learn about and appreciate the service and sacrifices of those who have given their lives in service of our country, as well as the rich history of the Canton area.

Webelos Woods (All 4th 5th grade Webelos) | Sept 16 17 18
Come enjoy the weekend September. 16 17 18 filled with friends, food, and lots of fun nearby at our beloved Camp Allatoona!   You will be able to camp and attend a fun filled day full of stations ran by local troops. Experience things from cooking, to shooting sports, fishing, fire building, and more! This is for 4th grade Webelos & 5th grade AOL scouts.  Details pending but save the date.​

Great Lake Allatoona Cleanup | Oct 1, 9:00AM
The Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up is a yearly event held in the fall to clean up our beautiful Lake. Units are invited to come participate in a great opportunity for community service hours.

The AT District Trail Days is a camp-o-ree style event where Scouts BSA Troops and WEBELOS come together for Learning, Fun, and Fellowship. 

District Annual Business Meeting | Oct 20
Chartered Organization Representatives from every unit are invited to participate in our district's annual business meeting. In this meeting, new officers and committee members will be elected for the coming program year.

Leader Recognition Banquet | Dec 1, 7:00PM
The Appalachian Trail Banquet is a recognition and fellowship event held annually to recognize the volunteers who serve our scouting youth.    The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the District of Merit Award, the highest recognition presented on the district level.  In addition, other awards such as the Trailblazer and Spark Plug Awards will be presented or recognized during the banquet.
