Scouter’s Winter Campout is an annual event exclusively for Scout leaders. This unique training event gives leaders the opportunity to experience a campout from the Scout’s perspective. Patrols from across the southeast compete in an epic (yet friendly) battle for Honor Patrol. Committee Meeting | Jan 15, 7:30PM Monthly meeting of all committee members in the district. The Annual Day of Fire | Jan 17, 8:00AM The annual "Day of Fire" is a CAAB tradition where scouts burn driftwood for 12 hours the second Saturday in January. This year the date is January 13th 2024. Scouts can earn three conservation service hours or stay the entire 12 hours. There are bragging rights for anyone working the entire 12 and a patch for anyone working 3 hours. We also repurpose Christmas Trees as fish habitats. FEBRUARY 2026Scouting For Food Drive | Feb 21 & 28

This weekend offers something for every scout. There are 3 sessions available to fill with your choice of 19 Merit Badges, conservation projects and other trainings. All sessions will be staffed by dynamic instructors that are experts in their field. Some sessions will fill up faster than others, so register today!
