Mayor & Council City of Canton Meeting for Citizenship in Community and or Communications Merit Badges. Please dress in full field uniform with pen and notepad. This will be a wonderful photo opportunity as well.
The governing body of the City of Canton is the City Council that establishes local law and policies through enactment of ordinances and resolutions. Regular City Council meetings will be held in the Council Chamber located on the third floor of Canton City Hall, 151 Elizabeth St at 6:00 pm on the first and third Thursday each month. The City of Canton wil post all meetings on our Community Calendar. The City Council may postpone or cancel any meeting as deemed necessary. AWARE’s Wildlife
Education Program lasts about 1 hour approximately and are geared towards children (Grades K-12) and adults. All programs are conducted by a trained naturalist with several of our Ambassador Animals, including owls, hawks, and squirrels. Programs may be performed on-site at in AWARE’s amphitheater (weather permitting) or at off-site locations, such as schools or festivals.
