Pinewood Derby

Pinewood Derby is the flagship competition of the Cub Scout program. Scouts will utilize a kit to craft a car, which they will race against fellow scouts. Everyone loves Pinewood Derby, and we want to give every scout in the District the opportunity to participate.
Saturday, February 4th, 2017
Registration starts at 8:30 AM
First race at 10:00 AM

Cost: $5 per Racer

Our top objective is to host a FUN event for our boys to enjoy being cub scouts and playing with their friends!

Awards

  • Trophies for 1st/2nd/3rd place Overall Speed
  • Metals for 1st/2nd/3rd place in each Rank
  • Trophy for slowest overall (must cross finish line unassisted)

*NOTE: Only 1 award per scout. So if a scout places in top 3 overall, they will not also receive a trophy for top speed in their rank*
