Different abilities does not mean our youth must miss out on the adventure!
Below are some resources that can open up the world of High Adventure to Scouts of varying abilities.
Bearfoot Ranch | Bearfoot Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit equestrian center dedicated to providing therapeutic riding lessons and other riding activities in a safe, effective and compassionate environment.

​The center furthers our students’ knowledge of horses; offers lessons to children and individuals with special needs regardless of ability; and challenges them to reach their potential through the love of horses.

Bearfoot Ranch also acts as a rescue facility for horses that have been abused or neglected.

Camp Southern Ground | The passion project of multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award winning artist Zac Brown, Camp Southern Ground is a unique and inclusive camp located 30 miles south of Atlanta.  The camp's mission is to provide extraordinary experiences for children and veterans to recognize and magnify their unique gifts within themselves and others to profoundly impact the world.

Much more than just a week away from home, summer camp at Camp Southern Ground is a chance for kids to grow and learn.  They get to connect with new friends and meet people a little different from themselves, explore nature and spend time outdoors, while eating delicious and healthy food that keeps their bodies feeling good... all of this geared toward celebrating our differences and putting a little more "good" back into the world.
