What is the District Banquet?

The Appalachian Trail Banquet is a recognition and fellowship event held annually to recognize the volunteers who serve our scouting youth.    The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the District of Merit Award, the highest recognition presented on the district level.  In addition, other awards such as the Trailblazer and Spark Plug Awards will be presented or recognized during the banquet.

What can I look forward to?

  • Review of 2023 and look ahead into 2024
  • District Award of Merit presentations
  • Unit Awards and Individual Recognition
  • Catered BBQ dinner from Old Country Place

Who can attend?

While the annual district banquet focuses on recognizing adult volunteers that serve in our district - we welcome anyone to attend!
